Wow seem to remember something about that. Was it if the battery heats up if they were reversed? Something can't remember for sure. Think I'll head down to basement and see if i can find something on it. OK what I found is it was the6-28603 Pennsylvania T-1 that were wired wrong. It says if it was wired wrong the battery became very warm and the shutdown feature will not work properly.

Ok I found the copy that I received from the dealer. Essentially where the red and black battery clip  leads go into the pin connector on the Mother board, the red lead should be in the outside position. If Black is in the outside position it needs to be reversed.

The bulletin was a single sheet. My copy was not all that good. I took photos and attached them here. One photo is the entire sheet: the second two photos are the same sheet but one photo is of the upper part of the sheet and one part is the lower portion of the sheet. Once you copy the photos onto your computer, you can probably blow them up a bit to see and read better. I was able to read these on my PC. Hope this helps.

Remember if you run in TMCC or Legacy , it is not necessary to use the battery . That is the best situation most likely as no need of a battery to keep track of.IMG_0799IMG_0805IMG_0806
