Can anyone tell me the value of the red Marx 994 with matching tender? I know it's a hard piece to find but not sure of value. Thanks

assuming it was unaltered, the 994 loco would be clockwork and have a value of less than $50, even in exc condition. The 941, 7-inch matching NKP tender, however could be quite valuable, it was only produced in 1950. 9th edition Greenberg's Guide lists it at $100 for "good".
This pair was offered in the Bay in July 2012, unsold at $710.00 RNM

The red Marx 994 locomotive can fetch a decent penny and along with the matching red tender, COULD be worth a couple hundred dollars. $200 for the pair would not be unreasonable and depending on bidding, could go higher at auction.
A decent tender alone sold last week for about $260.00.
