Looking at the Utah Rails website: http://utahrails.net/drgw/drgw-green-boilers.php
My understanding (although there has been debate in the past) is that pre-1940 would be green with herald, after 1940 black with flying Rio Grande. I guess I'm not totally correct because the herald is offered in both colors, as is the Flying Rio Grande.
Can someone explain which version is correct and the time frames in which they would be correct?
Also, what should the green look like? My understanding is it should almost be black.
