Use DCS to control my layout. Have TMCC also. Everything works great on DCS & TMCC. Using a Lionel Power Master for 18 volts to layout. I have a reversing loop that i turn power on/off thru the AIU. When I run in conventional with the Power Master, turn reversing loop off, and run engines the reversing loop turns back on when I cycle engines from fwd/rev.or slow to stop and run again. I use the reversing loop, power off, to park my DCS/Tmcc locos while operating in conventional. Is there any way I can prevent this from happening. Tom

If you have turned off power to the reversing loop, I'm at a loss how it turns back on by itself. Also, the AIU is only good for 4 amps through the contacts, so I'd be careful about switching track segments with it.
Yea John, me too!!! I have a 4amp fuse for AIU. Haven't had a problem in several years.

X2. How is the AIU circuit going on and off? How do you have it wired? A diagram to see? And how do you trigger it?
Oh!! am I bad. Problem solved!! I did some revisions on the reversing loop last week. Forgot to isolate the loop at the switch so power the was always on,duh!!! Wasn't paying enough attention. Will blame it on old age.
Lima, Use ACC(accessories) on remote & run thru acc terminals on AIU just like a switch. trigger it @ on/off on remote screen.
Think I will go to a toggle switch. John has me thinking on the amps even though it is fused. Tom
Mystery solved. I couldn't imagine how it was doing it by itself.
John, so embarrassed on this one. You got me thinking on how it was doing it, so: THANK YOU!!
You never go wrong on this forum. Tom
Nice to know that I'm not the only one that has these lapses.
Thank you, again John. Seems like the lapses get more frequent with age. See ya!!
Cheer up Tom, it's not as bad as it will be next week. Welcome to "middle age."
As I posted in another thread, Jameco has 16 amp relays on sale for 99 cents. The 20 I ordered just came.
