Its hard to believe the amount of pre-orders we have received for the the Big Boys. I hope Lionel can deliver them on time. I am sure they will be perfect with Mike R. over seeing production.

If I had the money, I would've gladly hopped on the wagon here for one of these possibly once-in-a-lifetime offerings. *sigh* I hate not having a career yet...
a delay, while not popular by many, will give SOME of us more time to get the funds and will give L more time to make them perfect out of the box, and to make them serialized for that much money

I wouldn't worry about this at all. In any case, there are virtually no trains that are once-in-a-lifetime offerings. And with these Big Boys, there will be TONS of them floating around for you to get later if you still want one.* And a high percentage will be mint, because many are going to end up sitting on their owner's display shelf.

Submitted mine earlier this week for remaining pre-order items (Lionel/MTH).
I did most of my order on-line and called to verify it with him. Pat was very helpful and a great guy to do business with, as always. I've made them my 'pre-order specialist' for all items. Great service.
I agree with Marty, add 611 and the Challenger in Vision Line.

A 611J with VL features would be an instant favorite. However, Lionel is apparently having enough trouble getting the most recent Legacy 611J out the door with its long-delayed Pocahontas passenger cars. If they re-announce a 611J this close in, they won't be able to "give away" the Pocahontas boxed sets. Who would want a 611J without whistle-steam 
, now that whistle-steam is back in the feature line-up of Lionel's high-end steamers (where it rightfully belongs).
