During a recent trip to Oregon my wife and I drove interstate 5 through Northern CA. As we passed Sacramento she mentioned that there was supposed to be quite a bit of rice agriculture along I5 in this area. That left me scratching my head a little but ok. Sure enough stretching in every direction were golden yellow rice fields. What I thought was really neat thought were the rice processing plants. Trains and raw goods shipment and processing go together. And we have some real artists like Alan Graziano that can scratch build them in high fidelity if you're lucky enough to have the layout space. I honestly don't know if these are pretty much the same as any other grain processing plant or totally unique for rice production,

So if you'll forgive the crummy photography . . .
