Does anyone know of a source for replacement roofs for these prewar O-gauge passenger cars?

I got these items from the collection of my deceased friend Ed. He wanted to restore these cars but the project got stalled for lack of replacement roofs. I'm thinking I could make new roofs from wood, if necessary. I'm not concerned about exactly matching the original appearance, if I can just make them look good enough to run in a tinplate-style train.

I am also asking for an ID on the car in the second and third photos. The trucks and couplers look like Dorfan; I'm wondering what model number and years produced?

These are probably the oldest train items I've acquired so far ...

the AF Pullman looks like a 3161 and the Pullman observ a 3152. Not aware of any replacement roofs (rooves?) but complete donor cars aren't all that bad pricewise.

the Dorfan Observ. will be a lot tougher, you usually find them paired or trio-ed with a Seattle Pullman and/or a Boston Pullman (have seen Atlanta Pullmans in red as well) but your Observ. appears to have roofs held on with two finials. That makes them especially hard to come by.
