Very sorry to hear about your father.

Many of us on the forum grew up learning about and loving toy trains because of our dad.

I think back to those times often, my dad was my best train buddy.

Rough all around.  My own father died almost ten years ago.  Had it not been for him, I might never have become interested in this hobby.

       My deepest condolences on the passing of your father.  I would just like to say that I have been a member of the forum for thirteen years and the number of postings I have read about son's paying tribute to their fathers and the fact that their Dads passed on their love of trains to their offspring is deeply moving.  If anyone is to doubt that we are all a product of our environment they should have an opportunity to go back and review these threads. 

I'm so sorry for your loss...cherish the memories always.

My condolences to you, Chris.  My Dad passed in 1979 and he too introduced me

to the love of trains when I was 9.  I carry his nickname here in loving honor of him.
