No I have not seen it.  I just Googled Santa Fe and browsed the "image" listing and up came this fantastic Santa Fe electrified commuter locomotive.  I don't know for sure, but it is either battery or friction (floor) operation.  I really like the looks of it, especially the top cab.  What a neat idea!

Quite right, specifically a Japanese National Rwy class 151 control trailer, first introduced [ as cl 26 ] in 1958, and until the advent of the "Bullet Train" the showcase model of JNR.  The toy is actually a 'reasonably accurate' but shortened model -- correct window and door layout, etc.

    The photo below is in a similar but dual voltage unit, taken at Sendai in 71.
