You're absolutely correct!  It's been a SGMA tradition from the very beginning to allow anyone who brings their Standard Gauge train to a show to allow them to run it on the SGMA layout.  Those who avail themselves of this opportunity are given a chance to run their SG locos on what could well be the biggest and longest SG layout on which their trains may ever run!  And there is nothing like watching your SG locomotive speed down a long, long SGMA mainline puffing along while pulling a beautiful consist of shiny Standard Gauge cars.  FANTASTIC!
