I have searched the forum and the web, and I can't find anything on this.  I have two PS2 MTH 400e engines that I have put in a lash-up.  Originally, my biggest concern was getting the front coupler attached and working on the trailing engine.  I got that working.  Now, I notice that the smoke output is not very strong on either engine.  I have tried different settings and smoke fluid and it doesn't help.  When sitting idle, the smoke stops coming out altogether after a few seconds, even though I can hear the fans working.  When I run the engines individually, the smoke output is much stronger.  Can anybody explain what is happening? Is there a fix for this?

Thank you,

George

Barry,

i got the engine working. Now it runs good with good smoke output. I upgraded to DCS 5.0. Hardest part was finding Belkin USB serial adapter drivers for Windows 10.  I created a new lash-up with both engines.  It seems to work better now with better smoke, smoke at idle and more consistent control of the engines.

Thank you!

George
