Now celebrating our 40th year the Great New York State Model Train Fair is the largest model train show in New York State, featuring over one hundred vendors and over 30 operating layouts and exhibits.

WHEN:

November 1-2, 2014

WHERE:

Great New York State Fairgrounds, Syracuse NY

Back this year, Thomas The Tank Engine makes an official visit on Saturday and Sunday for special "MEET & GREET" sessions and photo ops!

New this year, MTH Electric Trains will be in attendance showcasing their new product and product lines!  Millhouse River Studios is also a new vendor/manufacturer at our show.  Returning will be Forum Sponsors Gargraves Trackage Corp. and Ross Custom Switches.

Yours truly will be there with a larger and better selection of model trains for sale.  Be sure to stop by my booth and say hello!

Join us for the 40th Anniversary show banquet to be held in the Empire Room of the Art & Home Center on the state fairgrounds where the show started 40 years ago!  Rich Foster, Vice President of Sales, MTH Electric Trains will be guest speaker.  Rich will speak on the remarkable history of MTH, the many scale trains they produce and give us a sneak peek into the future of our hobby.  I am also going to present a slide show of highlights of the development of our show and the people who participated throughout the years.

This show is not to be missed.  Click here for more information on travel, tickets and more.

BRING THE KIDS, THEY GET IN FOR FREE!!

I'd be nice to see Popi, Jim Policastro, Bob Kish and other old friends we haven't seen in a while!

This year promises to be the best yet!  40 Years!

Thanks,

Mario,

Bob Kish may or may not make it. haven't talked with him in awhile.

Him and his wife have been going through some physical events that have thrown

them both for a loop.

Hope Bob can make it!!

No way!

These weeks are going to fly!  I only have the engine service buildings and like half of the cars of my weather, scale freight train done!  Not to mention dulling and dusting up to power (2x GP35s and a GP30) and haven't even gotten to the passenger train yet.  so much for weathering the PAs and putting real glass in the cars...

Thanks,

- Mario

Be careful; she may ask you to bring some back for her!  And then you'll be forced to go (To Dinosaur)!

BTW... Make sure you call me first, I'll tell you what I would like.  I'll buy!
