Now THAT is an amazing photo! Since the power reverse gear is centered, we must assume that this locomotive is being pushed from the rear end?

So what happens when you show too much detail?

I am so conflicted.  This exchange begs for us to go to Urban Dictionary to review the following phrase definition:

But then I wouldn't have learned that the Rio Grande referred to the M-68 class as "Westerns".  Now I want to know if this term applied to the M-64 class also.  

But more than anything, I want to know your techniques for getting those great stack exhaust effects in your photos.     

Eric, these photos, along with darn near everything you shoot are the best I have ever seen.
