Memorial Day thoughts go out to all those who served our great country!  And thanks for starting this week's SSS thread, Steve!

 

No finished products to show this week as I was away on a business trip, but here are some progress photos of 7 boxcars that are in the "weathering shop" right now.  Floors are weighted and weathered, interiors are painted & weathered and exteriors have been flat-coated and are ready for weathering...

 

Here's the Korber diesel shed, which has been raised to accommodate Tin Plate engines

 

 

 

 

I usually never post to this cause I have nothing showcase worthy. but yesterday I think I finally got something worthy. I spent the whole day working on a area of the layout and I am happy with the results here it is .

Don, nice looking consist. You need a couple of the white versions to mix in. Cliquot Club was made not to far from where I live. If you read the fine print on the car it says return to Cliquot, Mass. . The plant is still somewhat there in Millis, Ma. Not sure where they got Cliquot from.  I have a few of these myself. A must have for a NH fan in the Boston area.

 

 I don't have a finished product for the thread. I model the WW2 era. Need some ladies and some soldiers as well as some more details to complete the scene. Seeing it's Memorial Day weekend I'll post it as is as a tribute to all that served.
