Good Morning Everyone,

Here are a few more progress pictures of the grain silo I am constructing. I also included a picture of something I call  "Pen Tanks" that I just completed for some of the customers I work for in the real world.

Lets see what everyone has for this week.

Alan, the grain silo looks great!  My contribution this week is a Weaver Lehigh Valley 40' PS-1 "Flour Service" boxcar that I dressed up a bit, "3-rail scaled" and weathered inside and out.

I replaced some of the molded-on grab irons and footsteps with metal ones, replaced the plastic trucks with die-cast ones, added interior weighting to improve tracking and added Kadee scale couplers.  Here are the results...

This is a custom build i have been working on for quite a while. Except for the Victorian Brackets (Grandt Line) everything is scratched built. This is just the street level portion. Once I finish the popouts for the roof I will need to start the underground portion.

Once I complete the building I will post a bunch of assembly pictures.

Don't think there is a square DPM brick building on my  Lou Sassi H.O. layout.

Finishing up 33 cars from Mr. Muffin for the boardwalk guy today.............................Hope he's enjoying the waves!

Waves and Weather are great! You can't go to the dark side.

Al, that's a great grain elevator. I'm thinking about one for my layout, but no sure of the size that I want to build. I was visiting a close friend in OKC two weeks ago and there were two of them flanking main street in Yukon, OK. One was a nice size for O'scale. I may get my friend to take some pictures from various locations so I can model it.

Joe, that's a very prodigious scratch-build project you've undertaken and you're doing a heck of a job on it. Inspiring!

Nice weathering and customizing Joe. That gondola on the other line looks familiar!

Good eye, Don!  Yes sir, I was proudly displaying one of your scratch-built "muck" loads in that photo!

Something a little bit out of the ordinary. These towers were built for an owner of a die cast model store in Australia. He has customers who like to make dioramas with their construction equipment raising or shipping towers. The construction is mostly PVC tubing. There is even reducing coupler in there!

Joe
