Hello All,

In looking at Chris Bojanower's photos from York,  I noticed a B&O Cincinnatian P7 Pacific on display at the Sunset/3rd Rail display booth.  This engine is now announced on their website also.  Does anyone know if the model on display at York was a 3rd Rail pre production engine or one of the older Weaver engines just used for display purposes?  Anybody speak with the folks at 3rd Rail during York about this engine?  Just wondering as I have a set of the Cincinnatian cars on order from 3rd Rail.

FYI: The P7d we displayed was a Weaver model that belonged to Al Cunard (HI RAIL TRAINS) in hopes to promote it. After 1 day of showing it,  I was convinced as many B&O Fans showed interest in buying the P7d along with the Cincinnatian cars. To my surprise, only a few owners of the originally produced P7d ordered the Cincinnatian cars. There were no prototypical cars made for that engine in the 1990s. So if you have the Weaver P7D somewhere in your basement or storage, dust it off and order the cars....

The Cincinnatian car quantities will be frozen once the factory asks for a breakdown of 2R/3R for purchasing parts. This will occur in December. Production will commence in January.

The P7D production is limited to 50 units, because it was considered as an add on production to the P7E, already delivered. Only 50 units guys. 40 3R, 10 2R. That's it.
