Turns out you bought that lovely little GmC switcher for its original price. Do you happen to have either a time machine or a sonic screwdriver???

Thanks Tom.  The earthquake was a reminder to always work on scenery from the rear of the layout forward. 

A few observations on the LTI B6.  Yes Virginia, smoke does escape from the steam chest.  With a layout full of grades there's loads of pull power testing variables.  Outstanding is how the engine by itself will climb hills with very little extra throttle.  With enough throttle to dimly light the headlight the Pulmore pulls steady...almost as good as EOB.  Add a few cars though, as in the second pic, and the true pulling power shortcomings show up.  Hauling up that grade required a bit more throttle but then again barely enough to power lights.  Its real issue is that there's no Magnetraction or traction tires to assist, so its spinning wheels pretty easily.

If I could do something to improve traction then I'd probably add ERR to this puppy.  I'm only beginning to enjoy its attributes now that it has plenty of space to stretch its legs.  Just one long operating session made a big difference in how smoothly it runs.
