We have a lot of restaurants here in Va that seem out of place, I mean "Texas" tavern?!?!?!

 

I've also seen places with whatever type of food in the name, like "XXX Fish House" and below the sign it'll say "Virginia Ham Is Our Specialty", makes me laugh

There's a diner in Jackson MS called the Mayflower Cafe, my wife said at one time all the waitresses were older women with red hair and attitudes, food was good too!

i lived close by

 

fun to listen to the waitress call the order to the cooks /an order for a bowl of chili, a hotdog, and a glass of buttermilk became

 

     "bowl, bun, buttermilk"

 

great memories of late night food

WOO HOO, great news! I'm IN! Thank you Andre. Don't forget the "Eat" sign on the roof! That would be a great one for Miller Engineering!

Have to have one Andre. Hope that there are plenty of interior shots available. Have some things that will probably make the interior look good.

This looks like a gourmet ristorante I have missed...Where in what hall on the York FG

will River Leaf be set up, so these can be looked at?

We are working on our diorama, most of our building will be set up as a small town.

So far Orange Hall, where? Even I, don't know yet!

But as soon I know I will publish it.

Wow Andre ! You keep outdoing yourself. The building is the cake, but the Miller sign will be the icing on the cake !!! Do you have a side profile drawing of the sign? It's hard to see in the photos.

Stools most the time are inverted cork board pins.

After few meeting to find out the best way for modelers to attache the sign, River Leaf Models decide to include the iconic top sign "EAT" in the kit for no extra charge.

 

I receive a question from one customer and I decide to post it here.

The sign is a sandwich, the body and two layers with the word EAT cut off. so painting will not be difficult at all, paint the body red, and the other parts white, glue the layers on the red body and that's it.  We are working to make out structures easy and fun.

A red "Gelly Roll" pen could be used to pinstripe sign.

I use a lot the white one when i make some blackboard signs.

very useful pen.

The paint my engraved sign, I fund a better technique.

I'm thinking that sign could get illuminated rather easily with one of the e.l. experimenter panels from Miller.
