I want to thank Dean Brasseur and the entire Lionel Customer Service team for repairing my VL Big Boy.  As you may recall in April I came home to water in my basement.  While none of the trains suffered water damage, in the rush to get them upstairs (still in the box from moving) the Big Boy was set upside down.  When I went to run it again smoke fluid was through the entire unit and smoke  a couple of boards were damaged.  While NOT a warranty repair due to my setting it upside down ( I always store them wheels down), called the CS line because of VL status, it was sent to Lionel on RMA.  Everyone from my initial call was great to deal with.   I received it back and quickly tested it at the LHS and all was fine there about 2 months ago.  Saturday after York and while trains were still fresh on the brain I got to put it through a couple hours of run time.  Sweet as ever.  Ran my friends VL PFE cars behind.
