This morning I made a stop at a small country style Post Office to mail a package. It was not our home Post Office, but one that was on our way to New Hampshire to visit Elizabeth's son. I walked in the door and there was a line with one clerk. She was amazingly efficient and moved the line quickly. While waiting my turn, I noticed on the wall a Union Pacific calendar. When it was my turn to be waited on, I mentioned to this lovely lady that I liked their calendar and that someone at that Post Office had good taste. She smiled and immediately said, thank you, the year is almost over, please take this home with you. You must me a train guy and I know you will enjoy the it. When I got to the car, I showed the calendar to Elizabeth and she devoured it. Here I am now driving and she is describing all of the beautiful scenes pictured in the calendar. Now this is the way to spend time on the road.

AS far as the postal worker is concerned, this is what I call above and beyond service and I left wishing her a Very Merry Christmas.
