Has anyone every visited this steam-powered museum at Alna, Maine? I understand they have two and a half miles of operational right of way and are in the process of extending the line both North and South.. Comments as to the experience, hotels and transportation?

I've been there once and compared to nearby Booth Bay Railroad museum it's quite a change. I have family in Damariscotta so I go to Maine at least once every other year. Plus Red's Eats is nearby where some old rolling stock are. I think along the old Maine Eastern line. Funny seeing how all the equipment that I used to see is now in Morristown!

But aside from that, it's a great ride and I highly recommend it.
