Well you have improved your mac knowledge and found a few RailModeller users.
Be patient learning the software and have fun creating the new railroad!
Step 1, create the baseboard.
Thanks Carl. It was due to you pointing out the "GET" tab, that I finally was able to get the software loaded. I kept pressing the arrow on the right hand side of that tab, and it would show Twitter I think and two other items. Well I knew I did not want those and that was part of my frustration.
I'll have to play with the program some more to get the hang of it. You say I should create a baseboard first ? Can you point me in that direction ?
apparently, it does not have one. It uses the document canvas to set a rectangular work area size. It would seem that one would have to create a polygon and color it to visualize a shaped table.
I don't use the software. The tutorial videos and other users videos on YouTube are helpful.
It's under development, so look for more features as it improves.
It's the only game in town native to mac, but it looks good.
XTrackCAD is free software that will run on a Mac. I have played around with it a little, but I don't have any experience with anything else so I can't provide any comparison.
