Train stores In Atlantic city NJ?

Don't know about Atlantic City but if you go a little further south to Wildwood, N.J. you can go to Holly Beach Trains 4712 Pacific Avenue. Good amount of stock and good prices also.

There used to be 3 good hobby stores, two in Absecon, and  in either Galloway or Pamona...all 3 gone now.....good stores too....

I believe Tuckerton Junction, mentioned above, has been out of business for a while now. Looks like their web info has never been taken down. I visited Holly Beach Train Depot for the first time a few months ago and was very impressed, expecting a much smaller shop. I picked up several items at a good price, and had a nice chat with the owner. Wildwood isn’t exactly close to Atlantic City however. I’d plan for at least a 45 minute one way trip, minimum. Traveling down the barrier islands would be a scenic ride though, especially with the crowds of summer long gone. 

I'd recommend Holly Beach too!

If you take the scenic route, be very aware of speed limits.  Got a ticket in one of the towns along the way for going 20mph in a 15mph zone.... not kidding!

One of the stores in Absecon was owned by a nice little ol' lady who had a beautiful Labrador dog at her side at all times...the pooch would greet you at the door, and walk with you as you perused the shelves! The other one was right on rt 9, and specialized in Lionel; The other store a little west on either Black Horse or White Horse Pike was a Lionel store also...it had a real steam engine parked on a small section of track out front, a switcher I think.....I really miss those stores.....

Now if you are ever in Virginia Beach, Virginia, a must see is 

Dale's Train Station.....you will see more vintage toy's and toy trains than any where else!
