You're welcome.  It's apparent that military trains are of considerable interest to at least some of the forum's members which has, in turn, raised my interest in them; so, I'll be watching this live in about 45 minutes rather than simply recording the program to view at a later time/date.

Well I thought that was a great show, and also a good one to have towards the end of this day!

I remember traveling in the early fifties on a train to Oklahoma City to visit my Mom's Mother. There were 4 troop cars that was attached to the Chocktaw Rocket out of Memphis Tenn. I got to talk with some of the soldiers, as they were on their way to FT. Sill, Oklahoma, then shipping overseas, to fight in the Korean War. I do remember they were all almost to a man, writing letters home.

When I went to Nam, we flew to the west coast, then a flight over seas. Lot of things have changed over the years.

The Railroads may not move the troops like they once did, but they still move their equipment, as they did, just before the Gulf War. I was proud of them, as well as, my country.

There is "No Better Place to Live than the USA", and those who don't like her/us get the @#** Out!.....................................................Brandy!
