The Henry Ford is having the Makers Faire this weekend.  This is an extra cost event.  The Ford Model Railroad Club has set up today - Thursday July 24.  Our module is about 25' by 40+'.  The Glancy Group will be there also and are setting up Friday.  Both groups anf the Museum layout are on the far side of the Allegheny.  I will be there Friday after noon to check everything out.  A club member is bringing his 1st Lionel Allegheny and the MUseum wants a picture of it.  I will bring a Pacemaker train with a Proto3 Mohawk  and a Lionel 1990 era smoking caboose with flashing light on the back.  Test ran my Atlas Milwaukee Road Erie built and found the rear coupler broken.  Took it home to fix it and found the front coupler broken also.  Installed 2 MTH Proto1 short couplers and will test them Friday.  I think I have replaced most of the couplers on this ABA set.  If you are coming look me up.  Thanks Bruce

Bruce:  Just a couple of weeks early.  A bunch of guys from the TCA Lake Erie Chapter, who regularly get together the 2nd Tuesday of each month, are heading up to Dearborn August 11 and 12.  The plan is to stay overnight and his the Ford museum on Tuesday.  Any chance that you might keep the layout up and operating for a couple of weeks?  I'd let our activities guy know about this if you were.

Paul, sorry but this is only a 2 day Maker Faire setup.  I got there after lunch - the first one from the Club and installed my TPC.  The club's TPC is working intermittently.  I got both the Atlas MR Erie built's and MTH proto3 Mohawk running and loaded all the pacemaker cars on the track.  The Lionel pacemaker caboose  has a high draw - short which I could not find, so will work on after the show.  The Atlas Erie built broke a knuckle when I bumped - lightly - with the cars.  So 6 of 6 have been broken.  I replaced it with my last MTH proto1 short electrocoupler tonight.  Stop by and see the 3 train layouts.  Thanks Bruce
