Hello from NJ ...
i have been running a very basic CAB-1L/ BASE-1L. I recently got the urge to purchase two ARCs, then decided to get LCS WiFi, ASC2, and figured I would incorporate the ARC units into that architecture. I never hooked up the ARC directly to the BASE-1L so I do not have a reference for performance wired that way.
So today I hooked up the SER2 to the BASE-1L, and the ARC to the SER2 and installed a sensor track as a switch. It basically works ... but .... it is extremely lethargic. When the switch is tripped the train, at a somewhat slow pace, will travel about 5-6ft past the switch before the porgrammed action occurs. Can anyone comment how that compares to what you are experiencing?
The other issue I am having is getting a second ARC to work. I initially installed the second ARC in a daisy chain fashion per the manual. I could not get it to execute any programs.
I then tried to use a second SER2 with the second ARC. Not only did that not work, but it caused the first ARC to stop working.
Can someone advise if this could/should work? Suggestions appreciated.
Thanks ... Joe
