Re: Truck replacement

I have Weaver Grain Train (BLMR 1034) , this to me is a pretty car and long and tall, the problem is, when it was knocked off the track an hit the concrete some 4 feet later, the trucks were in many parts, I replaced them with Lionel trucks but the car looks (to me) about a 1/4 inch taller than any other car I have.

Can replacement trucks be purchased or is there a way to make the car a little less tall?

You need Weaver trucks as Lionel,MTH and Atlas are all to high if you can look at those brands if you have any.The Weavers are hard to find.
