As You probably know, Bowser is no longer making O Scale Turntables..I Recommend You Consider Millhouse, made by CSX JOE, advertised in OGR MAGAZINE, OR ROSS CUSTOM TRACK's Turntable...Both Are so much better than Bowser....They will be at the YORK SHOW, Soon.....Good Luck, Happy Railroading...
".I Recommend You Consider Millhouse, made by CSX JOE" Larry in all fairness, that's CSX Al.
Both Ross and Millhouse are great products. Both have a good reputation. I am going with Ross because Steve is not only a forum sponsor, he was the first FORUM Sponsor, and has and continues to support the hobby with solid products and support. If you buy a Bowser Turntable, I suggest buying the Ross Bowser upgrade.
Just my 2 cents!
Eric from Erics trains might have his for sale hes getting a new one soon

chad, Eric's old table was an Atlas TT. His new one will be shipping out tomorrow or Tuesday
I have a 30" Bowser turntable that will be removed from my layout early in May. Whole layout coming down as I am converting to narrow gauge.
If interested email me and I'll send some photos.
wbg pete, thanx for the heads up e-mail sent. thanx jim
Yes, I am so sorry, I meant CSX Al, and I apologize for the Senior moment. The Reason that I recommend the Millhouse TT, AND OR the ROSS TT, IS simple, they make 33 and 34 inch Turntables That can Handle the Weight of our Scale Sized Locomotives...Also, the way they are Engineered, they turn much better, No Wobble, no jerking motions, and have nice indexing systems...I am sure they will both be represented at York.
I forgot one other suggestion, the 30 Bowser is a nice size, however you will be limited to the length of Steamer you can turn. The 33 inch and larger make it easier to turn these H7's, Alleganies, even the Scale Big Boy's, EM1's, Etc. If, you do get this Bowser, I second the idea of the ROSS Upgrade Kit.
I have the Bowser 32 inch kit, and totally Re-Built it. If you send me an email, I will send you pictures...(llevin64@yahoo.com) Happy Railroading..

No problem Larry, we all have them

You are correct Larry, Here is a EM1 and also a S-1 on our 34"
Oh and we also offer a drive upgrade kit
If you are into kit building, there may be some old Diamond Scale TT's out there also. I used a lot of Diamond Scale Parts for my TT build. The TT that I built will be at York next week in the White Hall, Fort Pitt High Railers. IMO the Diamond Scale was a much better design before the current offerings from Ross and Millhouse River Studios.
Diamond Scale TT. Click to access a video.
I HAVE A BRAND NEW 32 INCH BOWSER TURNTABLE ALONG WITH THE MOTORIZING KIT AND BRIDGE DETAIL KIT. THIS WAS THE LARGEST TURNTABLE BOWSER MADE.
I FOUND A BOWSER AD IN THE 1998 O GAUGE RAILROADING MAGAZINE WITH PICTURES IF YOU'RE A KEEPER OF MAGAZINES. PAGE 69
