I agree that there are two sides to every story...and since chipset did not name the advertiser with the "rude" experience, I felt he took the high ground.  Actually, I felt chipset mentioned that event to explain his satisfaction with the experience of his contact with Gyrzboski's Trains.

We all know that everyone has good days and bad.  And some of us have a gruff personality over the phone...so by not dwelling on that experience and giving a "well done" to the advertiser who helped him...I think chipset's sharing was beneficial.

But that is my perception of the original post.

And what's even trickier is the world hears about it within seconds if something doesn't work out pleasantly all the time.  We might be the 101st caller of the day, and the 100th caller put them through you-know-what.  We just never know.  We're all human, and all the sponsors here tend to be top-notch suppliers.

Often best to keep unpleasant scenarios anonymous and just move on.

Rich is correct, and I would never post a name of a forum sponsor in a negative manner.

Not even a non-forum sponsor, because some day they might end up as one.

However, I do believe in giving big time kudos to forum sponsors who do me right, as in this day in age a train store is a refreshing turn from the usual negative and rude world, and I limit any negativity to just a generic snippet, as those vendors already know who they are, and it is enough they lost some business to another train store that demonstrates the way they want to be treated as well as us.

I echo johnstrains comments above. I have ordered both on line and visited the store. The Grzyboskis (Joe and his better half) spent a lot of time with us, even chatting after closing and coming out to meet our dogs in our RV. Great people, always have had great service from them, on line, at York, and in person. The store also somehow is able to get older items in pristine condition; I am putting the "Summer Vacation" animated piece in a campground scene (under construction; will post pictures after completion).

If you haven't tried them, consider giving them a try. I just ordered something from them this evening.
