The 400E does look great in the two tone brown livery.
Looks a lot better in the picture than the catalog.

The matching coaches would be Brown State cars. MTH has made 9 different cars.
Another great looking Tin Plate Standard Gauge engine from MTH. I better start saving my money.
Pardon me for mentioning this, but I think that color scheme is the original thing. I have Greenberg's book on my lap and it makes no mention of a brown boilered 400E made in prewar standard gauge.

I do not think Lionel did anymore than Black,Gunmetal and Blue. Plus a couple of Crackle Black engines.
