I received my new Legacy 990 a day or two ago and after familiarizing myself with it I hooked everything up and started to run my lone Legacy engine with it.  I'm operating the fantasy Virginian SD70-ACE and after putting it through its paces with this system I know I am in deep trouble.  I've been using TMCC for about 15 years and it was great but the LCS is light years beyond it.  This system is remarkable for its incredible flexibility.  It is a little complex at first but once you get the hang of it, it is very difficult to put down.  I foolishly thought my train acquisitions had pretty much come to an end and that my wallet was finally going to have a good rest.  Wrong.  One Legacy engine ain't gonna cut it.  I see Legacy Steam Locomotive smoke on the horizon.  HELP!!!

Heh-heh...and it gets worse...as you know, all those beautiful conventional steamers

that you have been showing us can be converted to ERR Cruise Commanders, easily and not TOO expensively (patience, grasshopper, patience), and they can then live in the same world as your no-doubt upcoming Legacy NYC L2a Mohawk (for example) and his buddies.

 

I see an upgraded 3rd Rail PRR 6-4-4-6 Duplex in your future. I have one of those too (I wish that I had gotten the Lionel, but the timing was bad) - looking forward to it...
