Yesterday was pretty exciting for me. I heard the train coming in and decided to go see how they bring the switcher into town--figuring it was one switcher towing another. Low and behold, two Union Pacific main line beauties pulling a huge consist and the switcher. I'm on CN track so seeing these UP locos pulling into the yard was quite the treat. After catching some video of the train coming in, I set up to catch it going out and chase it through town as it left. I only regret not hanging out by the yard to watch them turn the MU around using the Lakeshore spur. If I had stayed there, I would have been able to get up close and personal with these engines as they would've been moving super slow and would have had to have crossed the street right next to to the yard in order to get facing outbound again. Oh well, perhaps next time.
