 You can always visit the other Big Boy in a nearby park.

  The depot museum is pretty good and has a real nice HO layout in it.

  You can also see the roundhouse from the depot. You never know what you might see.

   And if all else fails there is a micro brewery inside the depot.

There is a street bridge just east of the Shops. You walk on the sidewalk and get some pictures of the back side of the shops and the equipment that is outside.

As said above go check out the 4004 in Holiday Park (it looks alot better now than it has in quite a few years) and the little UP 4-6-0 1242 up the street a couple miles in the other park (forgot the name). The Depot museum is nice but when I visited a few years ago it was undergoing a major renovation. You can see the roundhouse from there too but sometimes the freight traffic blocks the view. The bridge that goes across is heavily fenced now so you'll have to poke the lens through to get a good shot.

The Depot museum was not undergoing renovation as of last month when I visited. The layout on the second floor is an HOn3 model of the Colorado & Southern Clear Creek narrow gauge line from Golden CO to Idaho Springs and to Georgetown & Silvercreek CO.  I visited with a train club a few months ago
