I have been looking for post, you tube something that discuss step by step how to install LED lights on buildings. Can someone please direct me to a post or something. Needs to be LED for dummies.
I understand it is not that hard. I would just like step by step instructions

I don't have video info but you could do a search with all the words LED and BUILDING. That will bring up a number of threads for lots of info.
Then go to youtube and search for Installing leds in toy train buildings.

If you state what type of voltage you are supplying to the building, maybe someone here can set you up. If you don't have anything to power, you can probably get help here on that too.
DC voltage only to LEDs. Have you bought anything yet to start?

I might be asking the wrong question...question might be how to best set up my wiring for lights. I have a Z4000 as my only power at this point. Looking for best way to go. after reading thread above Looks like if I have HO power pack and strip of LED's I am good to go. I guess positive and negative from power pack to LED. I am guessing have one wire from power pack then leads from main wire connecting to individual buildings/accessories.
Check out ogremodeling.com then look at the directions for installation. This is exterior lighting that is bendable. I also sell led strip lighting for interiors . The lighting will work from 6-19 volts AC or DC but I recommend 12 v D.C. And use a wall wart power supply.
If you're using the 12V LED rolls, you just need 12VDC. For dimming, you can cut the power down to around 9V before the LED's are totally off.
