This video is very crudely done. Therefore it may appear grainy and not so good. Anyway, I will improve my video taking in the near future, but hope this video will at least give everyone a chance to see what I am trying to do in my basement.

Thanks for watching and if anyone has any questions or comments, please feel free to ask/say.

When I took the video/pictures, it was dark outside. Thus I had no direct light coming through my basement window. I have those incandescent bulbs and they are not as bright as regular bulbs. This explains why the video is somewhat dark.

As for the back drop. All that is are two Lionel back drops which have a city side and a desert side to them. I placed them side by side to give the illusion that there is a much larger scene.

As you can see, I don't have much yet, but what I have is very high quality. The SD70Ace is a Legacy locomotive as is the AC6000. The Dash 9 is an MTH Premier locomotive. The F59 Amtrak, as seen in the background, does fully operate and is made by MTH. This is the Surf Liner, but with regular Amtrak Super Liner cars and not the Surf Liner cars. That is actually how that set came.

The Auto Racks are all Lionel. I have a total of 8 and I thought they were beautiful and very prototypical. They look real cool when pulling out slow and because the cars are very long, in scale, it gives the impression of a really long train.

I also have one GATX tanker by Lionel which is very realistic looking. The train station platform is home made. I wanted to make something no one else has. I'll talk about that one in another thread. Other then the two semi trucks and telephone poles, that is it. That's my layout thus far. I move things around sometimes to get a better idea of what I may like to see on a permanent layout. Oh I also have that oil pump rig. I plan on getting two more of those. They add allot of dimension and are fun to watch going up and down.

Thanks,Pete
