Guess I was in the minority, as there was no way I wanted a tender with the big flag on it.  Looks too out of place for me.  I likewise have avoided all UP stuff that has the big flag on it.  It just doesn't look right in my eye.

 

Anywho, in your video the backup lights of both tenders were on when the train was going forward.  From Eric's review, if the lashup was done right, those lights should be off in forward, and only the most rear one would come on in reverse.

That was done intentionally for demonstrative purposes with respect to your inquiry about both rear lights being illuminated while the engine is moving forward.  I personally like the look of the rear lights illuminated, especially when running at night (despite being un-prototypical).

 

I addressed them individually as engines as opposed to creating a "true" lash-up with all three, thus enabling me to illuminate both tender lights, despite running the consist forward.
