Well, maybe the wrong Forum, maybe not. But just for the rest of you, Bob Milli was an actor who also did some train "restorations". There was an article about him (he had the cover) on some train magazine in the late 1990's. I believe he mostly painted lines that the manufacturers didn't do back then. I had him repaint a Lionel F-3 for me and he did absolutely gorgeous work. The return he sent me has his label on a cardboard outer box. The engine is below:

Gerry, those are stunning F units. Look forward to seeing you soon.
The engine that was painted was a Lionel Sante Fe 11711, which was a premier Lionel engine from the early 1990's. I wanted the silver colored trucks and wheels.
I know D&H didn't have F3's, but that didn't matter to me. I thought it would be neat, and Bob did a magnificent job. D&H has significance to me. My children are David and Helen. I grew up (maybe -- some people would dispute that) just outside Philly (the Delaware) and have been in the NYC area since 1976 (Hudson). Just seemed to tie in.
Hope to see you soon too Brian.
Gerry
Very nice paint job!
