Wow...that's an oldie...38 years old!

I'm not sure I still have the master for that video. I stopped selling it because the video technical quality was not up to today's standards. It was MASTERED on VHS and edited to 3/4" U-Matic tape! Ugh. But...that was all I had to work with in 1978.

I'll see if I still have the master somewhere, and then I'll have to see if I have a 3/4" machine that still works.

Awesome Rich thanks, I'd prefer your tape over the silent 8 or 16mm film from back then. I dunno how much your equipment was back in 1978 but I would think it was pretty expensive compared to others?

Personally I think this should be put on DVD before it's too late. Some rare good live audio/video of the 2101 before her unfortunate ending.

Hey Rich, just seeing if you ever got a chance to find the master tape of your Chessie 2101 program yet? Been searching all over the internet for any used copies and still nothing out there. I'm waiting to hear back from a library in OK that has one for rent but out here in CA the libraries by me don't do the loan process that is required in OK to transfer out here . I may have to go find a suitable library in the city or somewhere else but I wanted to hear back from you first.

Thanks.

I have this video but don't want to sell my copy. I'd be more than happy to make a duplicate for you provided Rich Melvin grants his permission since the program was produced and sold as one of his Hopewell Productions titles.

Bob

I heard back from Rich this morning and he says it's ok CNJ 3676. Send me an email I should still have it posted in the first post up top. I can give you my address and we'll go from there.

Bob

Go ahead and make the copy.

This was shot in the field on VHS, edited to 3/4", dubbed to VHS for retail sale and now you're going to make a copy from that VHS...UGH!

It's not going to look very good. I'm surprised that the tape would even play. By now that oxide-based video tape should have turned to dust.
