Midwest TCA and Lionel Modular Club layouts at the Southland Model Train Show in Chicago suburb of Oak Lawn. The TCA guys were having a great time letting the kids use the log loader, log car unloader and the MTH fire station.

It was Mason's 7th Birthday this week. I had difficulty getting hold of some train themed wrapping paper so I improvised. He loved it so, mission accomplished.

Made some more progress on the RailRunner this weekend after we got back from the beach:
...and in the spirit of Halloween, here's some phantom bikers chasing down the mystery machine on our layout. Chances are good they are actually just thieves in disguise trying to scare off folks, and they would have gotten away with it if it weren't for those meddling kids (and their dog too)
