Well, since it is a long weekend, I'll post my last month's progress. Had 14 days off from work, and was able to put about 60 man-hours into the railroad.
1. Completed all layout fascia.! Please ignore the clutter all over the layout, lots of projects ongoing, and will be cleaned up for my next proto-op session with Rail Group Chicago on 20-Jan-2017.
2. Installed the second open deck trestle built for me by my friend Warren, and shipped intact from Port Hedland, Australia, where he is on long term assignment. Need to finish the scenery here, but I do not want to do that until I get the upper deck work track and scenery installed.
3. Almost finished the upper level scenery from the rock face all the way to the Helix. Need a barn scene on the backdrop behind the outhouse, and a few more trees, but I can get to that when the mood fits me. Started this scenery in early December.
Going to work on getting three pull rods installed for the lower level siding at Eldee today, and then, back to work tomorrow.
Tuesday night, Tom will be over gluing down more track, and I'll start working on the scene at South Spokane.
