I was going through some boxed trains and came across pieces I had collected from the mpc era.  In general i tend to think of this as a dark time in o gauge history, especially compared to the variety and realism of our trains today.  However it's hard for me not to like the gritty heft and bright colors of this 1979 u36b and caboose from the Quaker city limited set and the matching 1981 boxcar.  I'll just overlook the fact that nothing here is scale or prototypical in any way shape or form.

Does your town have a Ferrari club?  Mine does it seems.  All five are seen crossing the new bridge into town for the day.  Not sure whats going on in the train yard below as I see two Border Patrol and one Fish and Game truck.  Maybe they are just visiting on a nice Memorial Day.  You can see my harbor and lighthouse are back!

A lot of people enjoying the ferris wheel.  I'm in the Starbucks sipping my Cafe Mocha in the AC enjoying reading the forum on my laptop.  Is that the Bluesmobile coming down the street?

I dislike posting pictures of area's that aren't done but I had to show Gus fishing under the bridges.  Thats not a spot I missed painting under the bridge its uh..... its uh...... yeah ok its a spot I missed but you can't see it unless you get down under the bridges.  I thought that was impossible until I stuck my camera down there.
