Hey Dustin.
Sorry I missed you guys. Got down there late. Your daughter definitely has a good eye for camera angles. What hoppers are those? Didn't remember seeing any pink ones in the Weaver catalog.
Thanks Matt! Sorry we missed you too!
Those are Weaver 4 bay centerflow hoppers, lettered for Klemme Coop. I like them becuase they are scale, AND fun for the kids. Finding them isn't too difficult... they pop up every couple months on the bay. So far I have 5, in 3 different road numbers. I also have two pink Weaver PS-2s (lettered for Farnhamville and Albert City). It looks like the Klemme's may have been made for Peterson Supply Co a while ago... most of the boxes have Peterson labels on them.

Dustin,
great photos of your daughter! I love the one of you from her perspective as well. Reminds me of our now grown daughters when they were that age

Here's my first real attempt at scenery - still a work in progress.
Very nice work!!
I see your Gotham.........and introduce the next locomotive......
Yeah............. I'm temped to fold.................. That engine fits the bill. I don't like the way the GG1 ended up, I see a redo in it's future. Not a big fan of the GG1's but they are growing on me. I got a really sweet deal on this older Williams unit, and the paint was blistering and I thought it fit the look. I really was trying to get a color that would match the stripes, but even though it looked really close on the screen it wouldn't print that way so I gave up and did as you see.
frizzenbee:
Wise you are to spend time with that cute little daughter. I often remind those much younger than me that have children: "They grow up WAY TOO FAST... so enjoy them as much as you can NOW."
Looks like you're doing that very thing! You will not regret it later. Have fun!
One, if not at the top, of my favorite quotes/philosophies is this one:
Kids won't wait for you to spend time with them, they'll grow with or without you.
