Have a great weekend!

Scott,
The shell looks great - can you give us more detail as to how you did it? Especially the ghosts.
I purchased a new engine for the VMT's layout. This is a great little train from Walter's RMT Company.
Impressive!
AG.
Thank you Frank and others.
It’s a Hugh weight off my shoulders now as it was effecting so many things.
We are truly blessed to have Dr. Wang here in Nashville.
Steve,
I too am so glad your eyesight has been restored!! Thank you for telling us about how Dr. Wang helped you!
great stuff Mark
Late to the party again....busy Fridays lately......Great pictures so far......
Steve....that is fantastic news....
First picture is a LNE coal train highballing on the main line.
Then....there are those mammals that can sleep anywhere, anytime....
Busy day at the lumber yard and the icemen get ready for some reefers.
Everyone needs a cool drink in the summer.
I'll try to do a few more pics and a few videos tomorrow.
Peter
In reply to previous Halloween posts, I'll add this picture of Zachary. He posed on Halloween last year
Who made this car and what is the model #? I'd like to find one. Thanks, Mike
Hi Mike:
This is an "old" Atlas (prior to AtlasO) car. As you can see in the photo of the box below, it is model #2049 by "Bev-Bel/Atlas". I came across several of these "old" Atlas cars in various road names and without trucks & couplers at a train show last Fall...and bought them all for dirt cheap $$.
I've been slowly weathering them and adding Weaver die-cast trucks and couplers and interior weighting as time permits. The road names/paint schemes that appeal to me (such as this one) will likely get 3-rail scaled" by adding Kadees, and will become part of my freight car fleet. The rest will probably be sold. Either way, IMO they make for pretty nice cars!
Old Post Cards many times show details that had been removed by the time photos of the same location were taken. It's especially true before WWII when photos weren't as common.
For those modeling cattle country, this could be nicely done. The round corral suggests a corner.
Steve aka "SIRT":
Like the others are saying, so very glad for you that it turned out positive. Our eyesight is a precious gift. It would be a tremendous challenge to have it seriously impaired or to lose it completely.
A little late in posting this week. Just got back from a week long vacation in Orlando FL.
Went to the Diary Cream in Winsdor Locks, CT and found this behind the ice cream shop. I think it's some type of military training facility.
Our transportation to Orlando.
On the Plane waiting to take off.
The track for the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train ride at WDW.
WDW monorail.
Harry Potter Kings Cross station at Universal Studios.
Hogwarts Express ride.
In Texas this weekend, so no train running for me. Did get a chance to test a pair of MTH ATSF GP38-2's Wednesday evening, though. I did a mini-review on the 2-rail forum here. MTH pleasantly surprised me by adding road-specific details such as the roof air conditioner, safety light, and properly-placed horns.
Thom,
You can run trains, that's what's important. Very nice collection!
that looks amazing!
Scott, a big THANK YOU for this recurring thread that is among the very few truly popular threads as reflected by the typically large "likes" and heavy participation it receives.
And another big THANK YOU for all who post photos who make it so.
