Do you think those who do not know what those things you have accumulated are, are likely to read this post? More likely to ask another question about their 990? Just too many pages in that green covered booklet that comes with it.

If you get rid of the instruction manual will there will be a new problem that can only be solved by looking in the instruction manual.

I think once you comprehend the notice stating "Warning! Electrically Operated Product!" you know everything you need to know...
I can't believe that is the largest print on the LionChief wallwart and though I can't prove it, I'm sure it's redundantly printed in every manual.
So these added items in the box are called Instruction Manuals? And what exactly are they used for? I've tried attaching them to every part of the item they've come with but to no avail. I can't figure out where they might of fell off.
Those are your retirement plan!
Many years down the road, you can sell them on Ebay and make millions of dollars!
Everyone else would have thrown them out and you will have the
"RARE" original copies of the instruction sheets!
They are the replacement for the Sear's catalog.

Do you mean to tell me that they have a lingerie section?
I may have to actually take a look at these...

I've managed to glue one of these onto my 606J. It seemed to be a fit but now I'm not sure. It seems to be binding in the drive train.
What I don't understand is why the manufacturers don't give you a computer with their product so you can go on the forum to find out how these things work and what this is for.
Unlike many (mostly males, I assume), I not only keep the instructional manuals that come with my trains, I actually ready them before I attempt to operate their respective items. Perhaps that's why I seem to have far fewer problems with my trains than some here do.
Allan,
You have forfeited your right to be a forum member! Unforgiveable....actually reading the manual before using a product.
WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?????

Rolling on the floor laughing! Chris you are too much!
I myself prefer the online manuals. Such as yourself, Lee Willis and gunrunner to help me!

You may have to consult the squirrel for the problems you are having with these items. His consulting fees may be high, but it might be well worth the price to get to the bottom of this. He is probably the only one that will be able to solve this mystery. Maybe some of the other forum members having the same problems would be willing to assist you with the consulting fees.
Mario,
Just read your post, even though it was more than 19 hours ago. How did you know that is exactly how we use the instruction manuals we get at OGR? It really impresses the folks who don't know us any better. Shame you ratted us out.

I have an extensive collection of most of the different species of mold that attack paper products. The instruction booklets are among their favorites. Yum.
Well Lawdy. In another thread someone was asking about a particular Lionel car and I told him on the Lionel.com page for that car there was some guy named "Manuel" and he might be able to answer his particular question
The cool thing was "Manuel" was all over it and had the answer he was looking for

My late father, a retired foreman in a large tool and die shop once gave me this fatherly advice: "When all else fails, read the instructions". If you don't want those things I'll take them. I'm always misplacing used manuals. Odd-d
Thats extra paper work for "non-ogr forum members". As forum members we already know everything there is to know about toy trains, we don't need that crap!
