Don't feel alone. This will be only my second trip to York. I live in Fort Washington, alittle less than two hours away. And I've been in the hobby for over forty years !
I'm sure something O will end up in my car but hopefully I will stumble over some excellent buys on G scale like last time.
Just the atmosphere of so many trains is also good therapy.

While I hope to see and talk to some good folks I haven't seen in 6 months, I also plan to go to the user groups and attend seminars to catch up on what is new.
And I will be looking for items on my short buy list. These include car numbers I don't have for Atlas PRR X29 express boxcars and Weaver B60 RPO and baggage cars. May pick up some MTH PRR R50b reefers and their 40' and 50' PRR Merchandise Service boxcars (pre-1950 scheme).
There are three engines on my list, but not sure I would get them at this York unless I find them at a very good price. They are the 3rd Rail PRR Q1, 3rd Rail PRR H6b, and the new Railking PRR H10-44. Without a full layout and showcase area at this time, they would just take up space so I may wait.
I don't know but when i see it I'll buy it. Most of all seeing Forumites and friends

It will be interesting to see what will be available? I know the BTO has crushed the great blow outs seen in the past, however I have seen allot of items that seem to be hanging around. I am a Lionel Legacy operator so I will have my eye out for possibly....
1) Good prices on the Heavy Weight Mikado. Seem to be a bunch of these still floating around.
2) Maybe a Vision Line GG1?
3) Some Legacy E7's, E8's?
4) The elusive Lionel Legacy Union Pacific Pa's
5) A JLC Allegheny
6) Scale Brown box cars are always a hit
7) Scale steel side reefers - UP/SP orange
8) K-line 21 inch Union Pacific cars
9) K-line 21 inch Milwaukee cars
10) I also look for older TMCC engines on the cheap. They are great runners, in spite of their failing smoke units, are pretty robust.
11) Of course I will be looking to say hello to all that make this hobby fun too.

Scale Lionel PRR S1 Duplex.
Bunch of parts mostly, mechanisms I can modify to build unique std gauge things (2046/2055 mechanisms that I'll widen for example), possibly an impulse buy of something in the Modern Std gauge era - Daniels GG1 for example. Maybe an MTH 400 if it's cheap - looking to put a 6 wheel drive underneath to replace the 4 wheel - make it a real Hudson. Possibly some G mechanisms, who knows?
But mostly to enjoy time with my train friends old and new. And plan for the modular STD gauge layout at the National Convention in Pittsburgh this summer.

I think there are AF sellers in Red most meets as well.
I seem to recall a few long tables on the outer aisles at the least, probably also a few scattered throughout the rest of the hall as well.
I can't say if the type of products they normally have for sale are of a similar vintage of the details you describe (HW passenger, link couplers), but there is definitely some Flyer.

Thanks. Some of the large AF tables have "museum quality" stuff at prices that reflect such. I'm always amazed at how much nice vintage AF can be found at shows. But for those prices, I want a hands-on look-see before buying.
Not going to release my want list till after I find the items I want then after that I'll say what I was looking for. Loose lips sink finding them...............Paul
There is that Flyer dealer/collector in the White Hall that is a fixture there and at the Chicago Wheaton monthly show.
I need a 385W Gunmetal tender.
I want to pick up Z-1000 brick
I am also looking for 401 Junior signal bridge.
If I see something in standard gauge that yanks my chain.
Also keep my eye open for G scale deals.
Of course there are odds and ends and parts to be found.

Would anyone at York have a PS32 board with the 5V connectors? I think these are 'drop in' for non-working older PS2 engines. I have a couple that seem to be dead.

Many of the AF dealers are in the fire station.

Probably another Lionel Hudson. One can never have too many of those.

Working on a new residential area and a few of the house owners need a garage in their backyard.
Also looking for a single stall garage door for a MTH building that I am going to turn into a small town single truck fire hall.

Other than these few items, I am looking for a nice day spent with my wife and looking trains and all the great things this hobby has to offer, can't wait till Friday !!!!!!!!

MTH passenger car set to go with my Dreyfuss 20-6554.
All for special projects: junker 3520/3620 cars/parts; MPC hopper cars with metal plates where truck attaches; 3370 type cars(3370pw, clowns, Yosemite sam); cheap radioactive cars/cannisters; long bed gondolas or long depressed flats; and metal trucks with fast angle wheels and with pickup rollers(not pw).
NP GP-9 with legacy; rainbow cylindrical hoppers; and alien cars.
So far the rain has been a hindrance to my efforts. Tuesday doesn't look much better.
However, being at a rainy train show is still better than a good day golfing or fishing, IMHO.
Right now I think I prefer rain to temps in the 80's Thursday and Friday. That's too hot, too fast for this fella. Not looking forward to walking 5 miles a day in that heat this early in the year. Gonna need a sweatband and tropical hat.

As much fun as it is to hear my mom groan every time I go, "Oh, look at that! I want it!", I think that my biggest regret of my last show was not meeting enough people. So, I plan to take it slow, and meet lots of the faces from this Wonderful forum. Mr. Melvin, I'm coming for you!
Oh, and Also I stoked to see the new Mikes catalog, and Mike! He and I are friends (Long story, involves Pokemon Go)

Having found a Lionel RDC-1 SHELL, l am now looking for the Lionel RDC-4? (RPO/bag.) SHELL (body only) that was part of that set.

I will be looking to sell a car load of stuff along with my train buddies in the blue hall k10-15. All so I can recycle the cash to buy gargraves o72 curves, ross double cross over, and maybe some other fun stuff for a layout that has just begun!

Joe, don't forget to check out the reliance fire hall. It's about 2 blocks from the fairgrounds and was almost totally AF. Went there today for first time. Some AF in the white hall, more in the red hall.
