one more thought, if you want a weathered train this is the one to start with. Nary a pristine car found on these consists in real life

I do not yet have a work train for my late 1940's PRR themed layout because at that time most PRR work cars were painted gray, and nearly all models are painted yellow. I do have a Weaver gray gondola, and the MTH scale crane in black is also correct. Any additional cars I'll have to paint myself.

These B&W photos are some I found on the net but due to the light shade I think most are yellow. Some interesting designs for the scratch builder.
