What causes a channel in a Rev L TIU to stop relaying commands to a locomotive? My friends layout has blocks, each on a different channel of the TIU. Suddenly engines in block 1 would no longer respond to commands, nor even be found by the remote. Switching that block confirmed the problem traveled to the new block assignment to a different TIU channel.

If it's the same TIU channel, either the DCS is switched off for that channel, or perhaps you've had a failure of the circuit that injects the DCS on that channel.
