Well, after bugging the manufactures for quite a few years, I finally purchased a scale GE-44 Ton! The printing on it was misspelled like so many modern items. They spelled NYO&W - SANTA FE   ,but, I guess I have to live with it for a while. I also picked up a Miller rotating sign, a Kolber building kit, a TM video and Dick Tracy model kit (why?, I don't know!)

I also saw some friends and my wife and my cousin and I had some great food. All in all a good time was had by all!

You highlighted the ketchup word, so you know you are guilty of a sin. Hot dogs and Pizza with NO Ketchup is the "ONLY" way to go. JK...LOL...Enjoy!!!!

Now, THIS IS a Hot Dog

On the Left Coast, maybe.  I'm surprised that it doesn't have any "fruits and nuts" on it.

i live in the hills of western north carolina (this fact alone could explain things)

but, speaking of hot dogs and ketchup -

most folks in the area consider ketchup a "fine gourmet condiment" - to be used liberally with food items such as pizza, hot dogs, green beans, mashed potatoes, etc

but never on ice cream

and, mr richard - you being from "new york city" - would cause one to ask, ""what does he know about picante sauce or ketchup""

Dave, yes, that's the van I picked up.  I wasn't really looking for it, I always check the TCA Museum and future TCA Convention tables to see if they have any cool custom stuff.  When I saw the Entenmann's van I had to get it since I like Entenmann's products so  much, probably too much!

Some parts, and a very well-used early PW #313 Bascule Bridge to restore. It'll keep me busy and stress-free, as well as give me a chance to try to improve the design by adding a counterweight and ditching the spring. Though some would question my sanity, I'm tempted to convert it to manual operation like the Marx bridge (it would definitely be a one-of-a-kind). I'll see how the motor and gears work on the weekend.

a!1:43 Divco Sealtest milk delivery truck  ( Orange Hall )

a 1949 Massey Ferguson farm tractor 1:43 ( Orange Hall )

a bottle of Sinbad glue ( great stuff !! ) ( Orange Hall )

a colorful Budweiser beer wagon drawn by two horses ( silver hall )

renewed my subscription to OGR ( Orange Hall )

a tin arrow shaped sign pointing with " TRAINS" inscribed on it. ( Orange Hall )

This was a very light haul from York, although I came armed with considerable cash.  I did not find any K line automatic 027 switches with the low profile switch motors. I have enough locomotives for now, although I almost bought  the new Williams 44 toner from Train World ( great prices and I really like Ken Bianco and his staff ... upbeat and friendly ..... thought I'd wait till WBB brings one out in Western Maryland livery.)  I'm also pretty well set with rolling stock right now two.... so I opted not to purchase any new freight cars or passenger cars.

The horror!...the horror!

I was sitting next to Peter when he brought that thing to the table and yes, I can attest that he devoured the whole Doggone thing.  Pun intended.

If the good doctor can down one of those Cholesterol Delivery Devise (CDD) then I do not feel to bad for all the dogs I have polished off over the years.

John P
