Well if the last few MTH catalogs are any indication, it will be a near copy of what Lionel is offering, but cheaper.

I don't expect any new tooling.  In fact the last new item MTH offered was the 44 tonner, which we have yet to see some three years later.

I think MTH has given up on the O gauge market and moved to HO and S.

 

But you never know, they could surprise me!

      A chop nose GP9 in general would be a nice item to have since many short lines use them.  If MTH did a Florida Central one I think I would have to order it on the spot.

As much as I'd like to see some Premier Geeps with fixed pilots (GP7/GP9/GP60M/GP60B), Id really like to see some Premier CF7's with fixed pilots. After over 40 years, there are still many in service on branch lines, scenic railroads and as industrial switchers, though many are taking the final run to the torch. MTH could do two or three roads in each of several catalogs.

I think you meant "Pre-1995" Burlington Northern Cascade Green ACF Centerflow Hoppers and "Pre-1995" ATSF Freight Car Red Centerflow Hoppers (which would actually be pretty nice).

Ok...maybe the most ignored paint scheme in O scale and a great opportunity to offer the "Polar Bear Express".

 F7's and coaches painted "ONTARIO NORTHLAND"(most surplus from US roads ex-NW for example).

 The fabled train that runs from Cochrane to Moosonee(on the south Shore of James Bay).
