WHEN DOES YOUR CHRISTMAS TREE GO UP AND A TRAIN GO UNDER IT.

At my house, I don't begin decorating for the holiday season until after December 1. The lights on the outside of the house, I plan to have ready for lighting by Dec 8, which is the feast of the Immaculate Conception.  I think last year, the tree and trains were finally in place by December 22.

I hope to have my tree up right after Thanksgiving.  The track is permanent that runs behind it.  

I'm getting closer to setting up the tree in the livingroom. New nativity has been on display for a few weeks and converted Theodore's Treat Train to a Winter Wonderland a few days later. Hoping to set up the Tree tonight while everyone's sleeping.

Has anyone else put up the tree?

The tree is up and lights are on it. The Five Grandchildren will decorate it Thanksgiving Night and turn the lights on thus starting the Holiday Season and the Birth of our Lord.  ………MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL…….

My tree and decorations and trains were up last week, now I can enjoy the holiday.

I built the new train board two weeks ago. It's ready to have the tree put onto it, probably the weekend after Thanksgiving.

We put it up the day after Thanksgiving and take it down New Year's Day. That way the kids can help decorate the tree before going back to college.

We just finished setting up the Christmas display last night. My niece will be arriving from Marquette, MI tonight so her and Grandma can decorate the tree together.  Normally we'd wait until after Thanksgiving.

But here are some crappy pics for now. Will try to get better quality when it's complete.
